The Training and Dangerous Game Site Programme equips learners with the specialized skills needed to work safely and effectively in environments where dangerous game is present. This programme focuses on wildlife management, risk assessment, emergency response, and operational procedures specific to high-risk conservation sites, game reserves, and safari operations.
Learners gain both theoretical knowledge and practical field experience, preparing them for professional roles in wildlife management, anti-poaching operations, and dangerous game handling under supervision.

- Full-time: 9โ12 months (including practical fieldwork and supervised game interactions)

- Completion of a Field Ranger or Senior Field Ranger course, or equivalent experience
- Minimum Grade 10 (or NQF Level 2 equivalent)
- Physical fitness and medical clearance for high-risk fieldwork
- No criminal record for firearm and wildlife handling eligibility
